This week is a busy one! Two presentations I'm so nervous about, but I know I'll nail them both and lots of studying for finals. Yay! Finals week! Heading home May 2nd. I'm a tad sad leaving school. I love this campus.

Blog a day - For the birds

It's hard to take time to write. I've been busy with school the past couple weeks and it's not going to slow down until May 1st. I have no clue how my grades are. I have a feeling not so good and thinking I will have to retake a course. This semester hasn't been the greatest for me mentally. It's definitely because where I'm living. I'm such a light sleeper so every little sound wakes me up. I use to be on top of my studies and got really good grades. Now I'm so tired and that causes me to be unmotivated. I will redeem myself next semester. I wish sunlight came through my window. It's always dark in here.

This morning I went to the dentist. Missed my first class, but I really needed to get cleaned up and that's the only time they had open. They were on me about braces. I've been wanting braces for a long long time just couldn't afford to get them. I made an appointment to see the orthodontists April 27th at 10:15. Will have to miss my first class. Won't be important anyway since it's the last day. I'm so nervous about it. I heard it's painful, but I'll tolerate it. Probably been through worse (Aunt Irma and Aunt Flo!). Hopefully I can get the ceramic kind so it's not so noticeable. If I were a bit younger I would go with purple/blue bands hehe. Guess we'll see what the Doc says.

Blog a day - 4, 5, 6

This week has been hell for me and I'm so happy it's over! Only two full weeks left of class then it's finals week. Can't wait until summer holiday. I have tons planned. Going to study A+, program some with JavaScript, refresh on UNIX, and hopefully get some jobs working on websites. Definitely going to work on my Etsy shop. Here are some things I'm thinking about making more of to put in my shop:



I mainly make toys, but I'll probably add some home goods too like candles and soaps. Check out the items I have sold by clicking the Etsy icon to the right of my blog.

YAY Pens won tonight 3-1! Malkin is player of the game!

Blog a Day - Day 3

Nothing much went on today. The snow has finally all melted. The only interesting thing I did was play with the DS and gerbils.

I can only get a still photo of Mistie when there is food in front of her. This is her first taste of a grape. Her little paws took hold of it after this photo was taken. She's so cute! She kept crawling up my back and sitting on my shoulder.

Gracie isn't as wired, though she gets scared easily. They are really becoming trusting of me now. I got them in November and I think they were about six weeks old then.

Blog a Day - Day 2

Yes! I made it before the day is over. What is up with the snow, yo? Madness! Class was for the dumps this morning and it dragged on for foreverrr. I had a Marketing exam I didn't do too swift with. I did good with the essay questions at least. Meh, I studied my butt off and did my best that's all that matters, right? and there was a group meeting at 2 that lasted until 430 or so.

So weee I'm uber happy tonight. I got my lovely coasters I ordered from BowieChick's Etsy shop. GO VISIT HER SHOP! She has one set set of coasters left. I was tempted to buy the other set because I was so torn between the two, but someone else should enjoy the awesomeness. Decisions are not my friend! Ooh! The Pens won! 6-4 vs. Tampa Bay Lightning. YES clinched playoff spot for them.

I think that is all that happened in my day, so I'm going to finish my cherry cola and go make out with my pillow! Nite world!

Blog a Day - Day 1

I saw some bloggers doing a blog a day and I thought that maybe it's a good time for me to start. I don't know if I'll be able to blog everyday, but I'll give it a go. Seems like a good idea anyway. I have kept a journal in the past, but it will be nice to share my thoughts/findings to the world. I'm not the most funny or exciting person, but it would be cool to have some followers.

Yesterday was Palm Sunday. This is the sight I saw out my window when I opened the blinds. Four Bambies were out there:

So nice having a mini forest out my window. Saw a groundhog scurrying around as well.

Oh yay it's snowing now. It's friggin April! I miss the smell flowers, the sun and warm air! I have to go study for my exam I have tomorrow. Day 1 post not so exciting.

Let's say a guy named Roger is attracted to a woman named Elaine. He asks her out to a movie; she accepts; they have a pretty good time. A few nights later he asks her out to dinner, and again they enjoy themselves. They continue to see each other regularly, and after a while neither one of them is seeing anybody else.

And then, one evening when they're driving home, a thought occurs to Elaine, and, without really thinking, she says it aloud: "Do you realize that, as of tonight, we've been seeing each other for exactly six months?"

And then there is silence in the car. To Elaine, it seems like a very loud silence. She thinks to herself: Geez, I wonder if it bothers him that I said that. Maybe he's been feeling confined by our relationship; maybe he thinks I'm trying to push him into some kind of obligation that he doesn't want, or isn't sure of.

And Roger is thinking: Gosh. Six months...
